so as i dont have much time i will be sending pictures next week!!

I hope that you are all well and that you have a great Christmas week and that you all have a great day!! I love you all!

December 14th

Wow! Its really crazy to think that Christmas is coming up really quick! Im super excited for that time and for this time that we have to think about the savior!!! Its going to be a very special time!!! :)

This week we found a few really awesome people this week!! It was a testimony to me that Heavenly Father really does hear and answer our prayers!! We were out and about like always and we had just had  rough week where no one really wanted to hear from us and were being kind of rude and mean but then we went to a house and we found some really nice young women who were really interested in our message and then at the end we gave them a book of mormon and they all wanted one and started fighting for the book!!! It was pretty wonderful to have found people that were really interested and loved to have us there to teach them!! :)

Also this same week we had a crazy storm!!!! We were really far from home and then we see these really dark clouds coming in and then they become black clouds and then the wind picks up and we start to walk back closer to town because the power in the whole town cut out! and we started walking a little faster and then all around us lighting starts coming down hard!!! and close!!! so we start running to a members home and as soon as we get in the rain just pours down!!! we stayed there for about an hour then we gave up and called a taxi to come and get us and everything is just flooded and we basically have to swim to the taxi!! haha but we made it safe and sound and all was good!!! haha but it was definitely was an experience that we wont forget!! haha

well i hope that all is well and that your preparations for Christmas are all going smoothly!!! :) i love you all!!!

Love,
Hermana Armstrong

i dont have any pictures because i forgot my camera!! oops!!!

December 7th

I hope everyone is well and healthy! :)

Well this week was pretty slow! Not much new happened! It was kind of a sad week were nobody really wanted to hear from us, but we are still trying and we are pushing forward! We are looking for those that are going to progress!! There are many but we just have to find them! :)

I have been thinking alot this week about this Christmas season and how its definitely a little different from every other Christmas that i spent but that every year is different! Right now i think i have learned more about the atonement and what Christ did for each one of us and how we need to pay more attention to what he did especially during this time of year! I love this time of year and i love that its a time for everyone to come closer to their savior!!! the Church once again put out a new video for the Christmas Season here is the link:
Its a wonderful message about Christ and how we have been given this gift and how wondrful this gift really is!

I hope you all are well and i will talk to you next week!!!

These are a few of random pictures! haha

December 1st

So this week we had transfers and as the subject lines says im still here in Feliciano!!! But the sad part is that im the only one that stayed! :( They took out both of the elders and my companion got transferred... it was really sad and everyone is a little depressed!! But we are going to get new elders here and i have my new companion already her name is Hermana Sobalvarro, she is from texas! Shes super cool and its going to be a lot of fun to be with her! She only has 4 months in the mission and im excited to help her out!!

This week has been a little difficult for us because yet again we didnt have an investigator come to church! We have a lot of people who get excited and then they just dont come.... Its really hard to see that but we are moving forward with faith! so hopefully we have someone in the church this week!!!! :)

We are already in December!!!! What?? when did that happen?? its crazy!! But i am really excited for this time of year because its a special time when people are more focused on the things that really matter like the family and also the savior!! I love this time of year its my favorite because now there are so many people that are focused on the things that Christ did for us!

This week i found the scripture in 2 ne 19:6 which reads,
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and his name shall be called, Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

I love this scripture because its also in the bible. I love that it has some different titles that Christ has! I also love this scripture because everytime i think about it i always think about Christmas! haha so i invite you all to be thinking about what the true meaning of Christmas is! :)

Sorry i dont have much time but i just wanted to let you all know that i love you and hopé that you all have a wonderful week!!! :)

Hermana Armstrong

my wonderful little Christmas tree!!!! :) Thanks mom!!!
I had to go to Rosario this week and we made a little stop to take some pictures!!! We also got to see President Zanni and Hermana Zanni! It was really good to see them and to talk to them!!!
my new companion!! :)

November 23rd

Hola from feliciano!!! :)

We are still alive and doing well here in Feliciano! :) Thiss week has been fun!! its been a little interesting as well this week! we got a text message from the leaders and they told us that we had to stay in our apartments yesterday because they decided it was going to be a little crazy! (Argentina had elections for president yesterday) and so we had to be home at 5 in the afternoon and had to stay in all that time! It was a little crazy but it wasnt too bad! so my companion and i just had a little movie night! haha we watched the testaments and made popcorn and a smoothie! It was pretty fun! haha but we are all safe and sound and Im so thankful that we are here in Feliciano because its really super calm! its a fun little town to work in!

We are still working with a few investigators! Its a little hard and a little frustrating becuase no one wants to come to church! That is our big struggle at the moment is to get them to come to church! We go to look for them but they are sleeping when we go, but we have faith!! With faith all things are possible!

I found this scritpure the other day and it really caught my attention and so i thought that i should share it with you all!! I really love that if we have faith God can do the miracles but if there is no faith He cant do them! So when we have faith and are doing our part God will do His!! :)

12 For if there be no faith among the children of men God can do no miracle among them; wherefore, he showed nothimself until after their faith.

I love you all and hope that you all have a great Thanksgiving week!! :)

Hermana Armstrong

We had an activity and this is the mom for all the missionaries here in Feliciano!!! She is the best! she always wants us to call her mama!! haha

November 16th

Hola!

Well this week was a little bit of a roller coaster of a week! We had some really good lessons and then no one came to church! :( But we are still working with a few investigators that they can progress!

We are in La Paz today for a pday to do something fun!! :) haha

Sorry i dont have much more to write because i dont have much time! but i want you all to know that i love you all and hope that you have a fantastic week! :) Remember that your Heavenly Father loves you all and that if we keep the commandments we will be blessed that is the promise!! :)

Love,
Hermana Armstrong

We went to the campo this week and it was so beautiful!!! :)

Also, our lights went out and we didnt have light for about a couple hours!

November 9th

Hola everyone!! :)

I hope that this email finds you all well!! :) This week was really good! We are having a blast here in the heat! haha Im getting nice and red! haha not too bad but from walking from a house to ours i did get a little burnt! haha The sun is really strong right now and especially about 12-4! But its okay we are taking care of ourselves and so you dont need to worry!!

this week was really good we had a really cool activity this week where we did a church tour type of thing haha in spanish its called capilla abierta! haha and its where we open the doors of the church and everyone is invited to come and tour and the members talk about what we do in the church and what its like! It was really fun!! Well at the beginning we were a little nervouse because no one showed up but then our president of the branch which happens to be my district leader as well... told us to take the youth that were there and go and contact and bring in anyone we could go find! it was a lot of fun!! we went on divisions and so i had a young woman as my companion and my real companion took another young woman as her companion! It was a lot of fun but a little weird because i wasnt with my real companion! haha but we had a miracle happen!! The young woman that i was with (mariana) and i didnt have too much luck we kept getting no´s and people were being really rude to us which was a little weird because with hermana Robledo people arent even that rude! haha the poor girl was just like this is what its like in the mission?? I told her that some days its like that but after all the no´s and the doors slammed in our faces we always find the person that says yes! And that is what exactly happened!!! It was really cool! We found the cousin of Mariana and she happened to be outside and we started talking to her and she was really interested to come and look at the church! And so we brought her and she took a book of mormon home!!! and was really excited to learn more about the church!! :) So we counted the activity as a success!!! haha

I love being here in the mission!!! Its so much fun and so great even when its hot and you think you might die! haha but there is always the one person that is waiting for us to clap at their door!! :)

I love you all and i hope that you are all well!! :)

Love,
Hermana Armstrong

There is a sister here that everyone calls abuela or grandma! and she is my grandma from argentina!! she always takes good care of us!! :)

The beautiful countryside of Felciano! Haha its one of the only streets that has asphalt! haha none of the streets have asphalt here! mostly dirt roads!

We got to do service this morning and help a lady with her house by constructing a wall! :) it was pretty fun!

October 26th

Hola!!! I hope that everyone is doing well!!! :) Its crazy to think that we are in the last week of october!! Its crazy to think that we are already in the last week of october! but i hope that all is going well for you all!

This week went by really fast i really dont even remember what exactly happened this week! haha we had a pretty busy but a great week! We held a Family home evening for the branch here and it was so great!! WE were in charge of the lesson and we did it on the armor of God and how we need to be protected and have our armor on to face all of the challenges that life has to throw at us!! it was awesome but there is one funny part is that this day it wasnt hot but the sun was really strong and talking about our protection and i got sunburnt pretty bad on the back of my neck and so it was pretty funny! haha but I love servin here!! it is my favorite place so far! haha Rafaela is great but Feliciano is like paradise for all the missionarie! haha its amazing here! We have some of the best members who are willing to bear their testimonies to everyone and it makes it even more special to be apart of the amazing branch here!

Well this week i also get to travel to rosario again! I have more tramites to do and so i get to do a little bit of traveling this week! haha we have to leave here tuesday at about 11 or so in the morning so that we can make it to santa fe at a good hour at night! and so hopefully well be able to make it back wednesday night after i do tramites! haha so we wont be in our are for much time this week!! haha

This week i read alma 37! I invite you all to read this chapter and really ponder on the blessings and the promises that we can find in the book of mormon! Also to enjoy the little things in life! We also talked about that this week as well to really include in our prayers the things that we are thankful for!

But i hope you all are well!!! I love you all and hope that this email finds you all in good spirits!! :)

Love you,
Hermana Armstrong

We got to go out to the real campo this morning and took some pretty cool pictures out there!! :)

October 20th

This week was transfers but there were no changes in my world or for the elders here in Feliciano!!!! We were all pretty happy about that!!!:) But this week we werent able to work as much because my companion got sick and so we had to stay in the appartment for a couple days but i took advantage of that time and washed ALL of my clothes it was fantastic!!! :) I was so happy to have clean clothes hahaha but i am ready to get back out and find those people here in Feliciano!!!

They have been remolding the church here in Feliciano and Friday of last week they put up the plaque of the church!!! It was really awesome to see how excited the people were to see the plaque go up!!!!! The branch here is really special every Friday we have a Family home evening here in the church and its always so fantastic!!! The people here are so very special!!! They are so in tune spiritually and always are willing to share the gospel with all of their friends!! Its so fun and great to be a missionary here!! :)

I love the talk that was given in Conference about ponderizing scriptures and i have been doing it as i have been reading and this week i really have liked the scripture in Alma 29:9!! Its one of my favorites!!! :)

I love the gospel and am so excited to be a missionary here in feliciano!!! There are so many great things about this area!!! So many special people!!!

I love you all and hope that all is well !!! Know that you all are in my prayers!! :)

October 12th

This week we got a little wet!!! haha it seriously rained almost every day this week!! It got pretty cold!!! today we got a little bit of sun!! Then it got cloudy and cold again! We arent exactly sure what is going on with the climate here! haha one day it got warm but it was just really humid! There wasnt really too much sun but i still got burnt!! haha

But really when there is a lot of rain no one....NO ONE will open their door! haha or they do to tell us that we cant come in because we will get everything wet and muddy which is true... there arent many streets here that have asphalt and it gets pretty muddy!!! haha but this week was pretty cool we found some families that really want to know the truth and are looking!! And so we are working hard to find more and more! :) Its been good!!

We also got to have some fun this week! Our District leader who also happens to be the branch president in the branch here it was his birthday on sunday and we went to eat at a members house and we got to have a fight with flour and a few other ingredients but dont worry we cleaned up after ourselves!!! :) but it was pretty fun!!!

also this week we had a leak in our appartment and our kitchen flooded!!! Haha the things that happen to missionaries! haha and so we had to have someone come and fix it all! but now its all good in our appartment!!! :) haha

But anyway this week i had been studing in the bible and was able to find a scripture that i really like that is in 2 corinthians 12:10 and it says;
10 Therefore take pleasure in infirmitiesin reproaches,in necessities, in persecutionsin distresses for Christ’ssake: for when am weakthen am strong.

I like the scripture because really when we are at our weakest is really find out how much strength we really have and that we can rely on our savior to help  us when we dont have the strength to carry on!!! I love that i know that whenever i cant carry on i know i can rely on my Savior to help carry my loads and my burdens!!

I love you all and i hope that all is well with you!!! I love that i have so many people out there to support me!!! :)

Love,
Hermana Armstrong

October 5th

I hope all is well with everyone! This was a really good week for us!! We got to move in!!!!!!!!! Finally!!!! :)That was a huge blessing!! The elders did pretty good for having to pick out an apartment for the sisters!!! :) haha but we are just really excited to have a place to call our own now!!! Its been the best!!
Also we got to listen to General Conference! That was the coolest!!! It was really uplifting! I loved listening to all the talks and getting to see the new apostles that were called! I had the opportunity to listen to the first sessions in spanish and then i listened to the sunday sessions in english! But i think my favorites were M. Russell ballards, Fransico Viñas, Robert D Hales, Elder Holland, Vern p stanfill Dale G renlund, Prestident Nelson, Elder Cristoffersons, President eyring, and David a Bednars talk! Oh and of course i loved president monsons talk! Well after i wrote all their names i have realized that this is basically all of the general conference! haha but it is incredible how many talks were able to touch my heart! I had no idea that elder viñas could speak english!!! He was the one that came to our mission in August and we got to meet with him!! haha but that was a cool surprise! He also translated his own talk!! That was really cool to hear and to listen to!
This week in my studies i have been reading about the love of our Heavenly Father for us and i love the scriptures in Matthew 11:28-30!
28 ¶Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.)
and how His burden is light! I was reading in Mosiah 24:10-16

(10And it came to pass that so great were their afflictions that they began to cry mightily to God.
11And Amulon commanded them that they should stop their cries; and he put guards over them to watch them, that whosoever should be found calling upon God should be put to death.
12And Alma and his people did not raise their voices to the Lord their God, but did pour out their hearts to him; and he did know the thoughts of their hearts.
13And it came to pass that the voice of the Lord came to them in their afflictions, saying: Lift up your heads and be of good comfort, for I know of the covenant which ye have made unto me; and I will covenant with my people and deliver them out of bondage.
14And I will also ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs, even while you are in bondage; and this will I do that ye may stand as witnesses for me hereafter, and that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in...
15And now it came to pass that the burdens which were laid upon Alma and his brethren were made light; yea, the Lord did strengthen them that they could bear up their burdens with ease, and they did submit cheerfully and with patience to all the will of the Lord.
16And it came to pass that so great was their faith and their patience that the voice of the Lord came unto them again, saying: Be of good comfort, for on the morrow I will deliver you out of bondage. )
and how the sons of Mosiah were able to be strengthened to withstand their burdens and trials! Its true that we all have our trials but with the help of our loving Savior we don't have to go through these trials alone! We have the invitation to come to Him we just need to take that first step to accept that invitation!!
I love you all and i wanted to share my thoughts with you! I dont have any pictures this week as i am in La Paz for today and so i dont have pictures to send but this coming week there will be quite a few!! So be prepared!! ;)

Love,
Hermana Armstrong

September 28th

Well we thought that this week we were going to get an appartment but no.... But its okay because tomorrow we will have an appartment! :) So its all good! The Elder from the offices couldnt come the last time because there was a miscommunication between us and him and so he didnt come but hopefully he can come up tonight and we can move in tomorrow! The problem is that they cant bring everything so its not super easy because we are a long way away form the offices and so they have to come here and buy all the furniture and everything like that! But we got to see pictures of the appartment and it is going to be really nice!!!! :) We are excited that finally we can move out of the hotel! After 3 weeks in the hotel we are really ready to leave!!! haha But its been an adventure!!!

This week has been pretty good!!! The members of the branch here had the awesome opportunity to go to the temple in Buenos Aires!!! It was fantastic to hear about their stories! It was the first time that the whole branch had the opportunity to go! And one couple was able to be sealed for time and eternity!!! :) It was really special moment for everyone!!! There were youth as well that went and did baptisms! There were a few that also went to the temple for the first time! This was a miracle that happened here! It was a miracle that everyone that was planning on going could go and it was a miracle that their bus worked and everything! it really strengthed everyone´s testimonies! It was a wonderful sunday to hear all about their stories and their testimonies!!! :)

I love you all! We are doing good here in Feliciano and hopefully next week you will be able to see all of our awesome pictures of our new appartment!!! :)

Love,
Hermana Armstrong

Your typical selfie!! ;) haha

This is edgardo! Him and his wife got sealed this past week and went through the temple for the first time!!!! :)

Feliz día de primavera acá en Argentina!!! :)

Well like the caption says we are staying super busy!!! We have been having some awesome lessons with members and it is incredible to feel the love and the support of the members!!! We have an investigator that came to church this week! WE were really excited for her to come!! We had a great lesson with her the other day and now we are helping her prepare for baptism for the 3 of october! Which isnt that far away! Yikes when people say that times flies in the mission they arent kidding! haha

This week we are going to have an appartment!!!!!! WOOOOO!! We are so excited to leave this little hotel! haha and finally be able to have a place of our own!!! :)

Its starting to get warmer here! haha We are doing fine here! but its going to be a lot of fun! haha especially since we are the most north town in the mission! haha we are closer to the mission corrientes than we are in our own mission home! haha

But all in all we are all doing great here in Feliciano! I hope that you all are doing well!!! :)

Love,
Hermana Armstrong

September 8th

Yes that is the name of my new area!! :) I did get transferred! It was really hard to leave all of my friends and investigators In Rafaela but I know that Heavenly Father needs me in Feliciano! :)  And it is TINY!!!! like 16 cuadras (its like city blocks) by 16 cuadras!  AND! We share the area with a set of elders! haha so really we are going to have about 16 square blocks of our area! haha but what is really cool is that we are the first sisters in this area! :) so there is always a story about how the mission president decides to open an area and ours is really really awesome! So because this area is so tiny they elders here one of them is branch president! and as a companionship the elders have been praying that President Perez would send another set of missionaries here! Especially sisters because we can help so many people here! Well President Perez came to Feliciano and asked the elders what they think if he sent sisters here! They elders were astonished and said that it has been what they have been praying for! And so i got to talk to president about the transfers because he came to Rafaela and we were talking and he told me that the area is very beautiful and that the people here are wonderful and that he told me that when he got here he had such a stong impression that he needs sisters here that this branch needs sisters! So Im really excited to be apart of an answer to their prayers and that I can meet and help so many people here!

My new companion is AWESOME!!! her name is Hermana Robledo! She is from Bolivia originally but has lived in Buenos Aires for a while so.... I HAVE A LATINA COMPANION!!!!! YAY!!!!!! :D im so excited!!!! She is wonderful and has a lot of energy and we are going to help so many people!!! :)

Another thing about our area! We dont exactly have a house or an appartment............ Haha and so we are living in a hotel... Sounds awesome but it brings its own hardships like we dont have a fridge...... so we cant keep food! haha and we cant cook our own food because we dont have a kitchen.... hahaha oh and we dont have a cellphone! hahahaha Im pretty sure this change was a shock to everyone because there is nothing set up for us! haha but its going great there are so many wonderful people here!!! Im so excited to start and This area is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!! its a lot like home minus the mountains! haha its very country and lots of trees and I Just LOVE IT already!!!

But this transfer has really strengthen my testimony that Our Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers and that he knows us individually and knows how to help us when we struggle!!! Its been so great to have served in Rafaela but im in Feliciano and that is where im supposed to be to help this branch grow!!

i love you all and hope that everything is well with you all!!! :) I hope you have a great week!!! :)

Love,
Hermana Armstrong

Bienvenidas a Feliciano!!! haha

August 31st

Well summer is approaching! Its starting to get pretty warm here! Some times it feels really nice that you can go out and theres a nice breeze then other times usually around noon its just really hot! haha and its pretty humid here and so its not a dry heat is like a muggy heat! so its been fun! so here comes the times where eveyone here feels bad for the missionaries! haha but its really not that bad and its just going to keep getting hot and so im trying to enjoy where it feels good that its nice and warm! haha but im getting the really nice sister missionary tan line on my legs and my feet! haha but our weeks been good otherwise!

I went to Rosario this week to do some paperwork for my visa that was fun! Got to go to one of the new appartments for the sisters! The new mission presidents wife is really cracking down on the sisters appartments and the regulations for them! So theres a lot of sisters that are moving out and some of the new appartments are really nice!  :)

Our investigator pool is small but we are still working hard at finding those who are ready and willing to let us in! Our investigators la familia Barrios are still going!! WE are still really excited for them! Its been hard the past couple weeks satan has really been working hard on them and we are helping them work through the walls that they are finding! But they are a great family and we have a lot of hope for them!!! they are really our only investigators right now that are progressing! Our others are going along but have a hard time keeping their commitments.... so we are going to see! :)

Well that is all thats really happened this week!! I hope that all is well with everyone and that you will have a great week!! Also this coming week is transfers........ and so my next pday will be tuesday! So i will talk to you all on tuesday and see if im still in Rafaela or if Heavenly Father wants me somewhere else....

I hope you all know i love you!! And hope all is well!! :)

Love,
La Hermana Armstrong

August 24th

This week was just a little crazy! Well the beginning of it and then it kind of slowed down but still was a little insane!

To start off we spent last tuesday in santa fe doing things for my visa and so then we lost a little bit of time that way and then I get to go to Rosario to do other things for my visa that we cant do in Santa Fe! Fun!!! haha but its going to be good! oh and we ran out of money this past week! haha that was an adventure!! We have gone to santa fe 3 times in the past 3 weeks! haha but no worries we were able to recieve more for this week and so its all going to be good!

Oh you have got to love the honesty of little kids! We went by a house and clapped at the gate and the youngest daughter came out and told us that her mom was in the shower we were talking to her as the grandma came out really angry that we were there and told us that the mom wasnt home and to leave stuff like that and the daughter turned around and yelled at the grandma "yeah shes home dont lie shes in the shower!" it was really funny! :) It gave us a good smile from a rejection like that! haha

our investigators that we have arent really progressing..... this week was a little sad because it was the first in a while where we had no investigators at church! so that was a little dissappointing! But we are continuaing to work with them!

the rest of our week wasnt very exciting! haha but it was still good! :)

I hope all is well with all of you!

I love you all!

August 17th

Hola!! :)

This week has been really quick! Its crazy how quick time flies by!!! I hope everyone is doing okay with all the fires! I love you all and you are all in my prayers!!!!

This week! well  where to begin.... we kind of had a slow week! We had one day where my comp was sick and so we didnt go out that day, then we had a great meeting in Santa Fe with Elder Viñas of the seventy come and talk to us and that was really great!! We talked a lot about the atonement!! It was reallly good to get to study and learn more about how the atonement works in my life! I encourage you all to do the same to really ponder about what our Savior Jesus Christ did for us and how because of his sacrifice we can become better!!! It will change the meaning of the atonement! I know it did for me! :)

We have a great new family that ugh they are seriously so great!  I think i talked about them last week! Rita y Oscar!! They are serisouly the bomb.com!!! This week we were able to pass by twice! It was awesome! They are a really close family! The parents and their kids all get together every sunday for sunday dinner! They have told their whole family about us and how they really like us! They have even invited us to their crazy family dinners on sunday! :) Its really great to see that the gospel makes sense for people! It also helps that they have had some examples of faithful members to show what we believe!! That really really helps because they can know that it isnt just us telling them what we believe but it helps that they have friends who really lived the gospel! But through them as well we have found a less active family!! haha and so we are working with them as well! The problem is that they just live so so so so so far away!! haha but they are awesome!

Well i hope all is well with everyone! I love you all!!! :) Keep on being the awesome people you are!!!!! :)

Con amor,
Hermana Armstrong

We got to use bikes this week!! It was a huge blessing as you can see our area isnt all that big but when you have to walk its really big! but the only downside to using bikes in a skirt is that your skirt sometimes gets a little dirty! Then when you look at the bikes its a wonder that only your skirt gets a little dirty and not the whole skirt itself!!! haha but its okay! WE finally found someone that is willing to wash our clothes for us!!! HUGE BLESSING!!!! okay gross note but its so true! When you wash by hand its not that gross! but here as a missionary if it doesnt smell and if it doesnt have too many stains on it its okay to keep wearing it! haha just because washing by hand is actually really hard and no one likes to do it! haha and so there have been some clothes that i havent washed since i came to Argentina..... Ew Gross i know but hey they didnt have stains and they didnt stink.....Too bad.... haha but now they are like new clothes! Its really great to have washing machines!! haha :) but we are really thankful for members that help us with our clothes! Because on pday the last thing you want to do is have to wash by hand! Especially now because it rains and rains and rains! haha

but i hope all is well!!! :) Love you all!

August 10th

Hola everyone!! :)

Well I have experienced my first really big rain storm in Argentina! Yesterday! :) it hasnt rained here for about 6 months and so everything flooded!!!!! We were about midcalf in water walking in some streets and just soaked! haha but the worst part is here everyone is home but no one wants to let you in!!! haha Its terrible! In about 2 hours we ran out of our plans for the day! Everyone was home but they didnt want to let us in! haha so we decided to go to a members house that we know they would let us in! haha and they did! but they just started yelling at us! why? because we were soaked and dirty and they told us that we shouldnt be out here when its raining like this! haha the hermano was really really close to calling Presidente Perez to tell him that he shouldnt let us out when its raining like it did yesterday! haha Our appartment didnt flood but we were preparing for it! haha but they let us in and made us switch skirts with la hermana and coats and they drove us (they are one of the 3 families in our branch that have a car) to our appointment (our last appointment of the day) and then once our appointment was over they told us to call them and they were going to drive us home! it was quite an experience!! It continued to rain until midnight and so by morning the water was gone! (mostly) haha

we found a really great family this week that we are really excited about Rita and Oscar! They are contacts and it turns out that they are really good friends with some less actives that we have here! Its been really great to know this family! They actually remembered our appointment and were waiting with food for us! This is a big deal! A lot of people dont remember our appointments! but they have a big family and are really close! We have a lot of hope for them!

Our other investigators are still progressing and it is so cool to see!! :)

Im so gratful to be here and am so excited to be a missionary!

I love you all and hope you have a great week! :)

Love,
Hermana Armstrong

unfortunatly i didnt get a picture of the rain but we went to santa fe this week and got to see the new offices of the mission!! :)

this is our wonderful oven that we use! The front is slit in half and we are in the process of getting it fixed but its really funny!! haha
